- Livestock are to be dropped off during business hours (7am - 3pm) the day prior to harvest. A current brand inspection is required for all cattle.
- Failing to drop off the approved number of animals will not change harvest fees. For example, if a request for 5 animals is approved, but only 4 are dropped off, harvest fees for 5 animals will be due.
- Harvest fees must be paid at the time the animal is scheduled.
- Harvest fees will be refunded only when harvest appointments are cancelled at least 4 weeks prior to the appointed drop-off date.
- No animals beyond the number approved may be dropped off without prior approval from Wolf Pack Meats management.
- When dropping animals off, livestock must be unloaded under supervision of a Wolf Pack Meats employee or designee. Animals must be unloaded in a manner consistent with good animal welfare practices.
- Offal may be retained during harvest on behalf of the customer, but cannot be guaranteed.
- Meat must be picked up no later than 5 days after being notified that the order is complete. Failing to pick up product within this time period will result in storage fees.
- Storage fees will be charged on a daily basis per carcass.
- Cut instructions must be provided at the time the animals are dropped off. If instructions are ambiguous, we reserve the right to make cut decisions on behalf of the customer in order to maintain an orderly workflow.
- We cannot guarantee to process within a particular window (hang time).
- We cannot guarantee a particular fat percentage in ground products (e.g. 80/20 ground beef).
- Packaging choices are at the discretion of the packaging team and may be changed without notice.
- Any claims of poor workmanship or lack of adherence to cut instructions must be made prior to the product leaving Wolf Pack Meats. Claims made after the product has been picked up cannot be honored.
